Plum shots were excellent coolant drinks to enjoy during this humid weather. It was chilling, tangy, a very refreshing shots. The best thing about being at the native place is that you get a chance to try varieties of recipes prepared by different members of the house. A Plum shot was my brother-in-law’s idea. Actually, we were supposed to make Jamun shots, but because he couldn’t find in the market, he brought fresh plums, and then what? He prepared plum shots from the entire family. Very quick and easy to make. You can prepare Jamun shots in the same way.
Prep time: 10 minutes
Serves: 4 shots.
2 tsp sugar or as required.
Water as required.
Salt to rim your glasses.
As you bring fresh plums from the market, wash them, and put them into the refrigerator for chilling.
Once plums are chilled enough, deseed them.
Transfer the deseeded plums into the mixing bowl and add sugar to it.
Blend it to get puree like consistency and add water as per your requirement. I added just 2-3 tsp.
Transfer into the clean bowl and ready your glasses with a salt rim.
Pour the glasses and enjoy your tangy and chill Plum shots.
