Avocado Sandwich recipe

Avocado is considered as the superfood because it’s a good source of dietary fibre, good fat, vitamins, and minerals. This sandwich with veggies will be very filling, healthy and can be munched anytime.

Serves: 2



1 medium-sized avocado

1/2 cup chopped onion or 1 medium sized onion

1/4 cup of Red bell pepper or 1/4 portion of a red bell pepper

1/4 cup of Yellow bell pepper or 1/4 portion of  a yellow bell pepper

1/4 cup of Green bell pepper or 1/4 portion of a Green bell pepper

1 cup tomatoes or 1 large sized tomato.

2-3 crushed garlic

3 dry red chillies, crush it to make chilli flakes(can be added as per your taste)

7-8 Black pepper, crush it to make pepper powder

1/2 cup chopped Coriander

1 medium sized Zucchini or cucumber

2 small sized lemon

Salt to taste

1 packet bread

Preparation method:

Finely chop all vegetables and transfer it in a bowl.


Take an avocado, cut it into a half, remove seed and scoop out entire pulp from it into another bowl.

Mash that pulp with spoon, fork or masher to make it uniform and smooth paste. Transfer mashed avocado to the chopped vegetable bowl and mix it well.

Then squeeze lemon, add pepper powder, chilli flakes, garlic, chopped coriander and salt to taste. Mix it well


For sandwich

Take one slice of bread and apply little butter on it. Transfer that bread slice to the pan with butter side facing down. Cook at low flame.

Spread the mixture on the slice and put some slices of cucumber. (You can add olives, jalapeños, tomato or any other vegetables that you like)

Take another slice of bread, apply little butter and layer on it with butter side facing up. Flip it and cook till brown crust on both sides.


It tastes better if eaten immediately, otherwise it may become bitter.
