Prep time: 20 minutes
Cook time: 10 minutes
Serves: 3

Ingredients
1 cup raw chickpeas(chole chana)
2/3 cup chopped onions
2/3 cup chopped coriander
1 tbsp of grated green chili
1 tsp of grated ginger
1 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp dried mango powder(amchur)
1/4 tsp asafetida
2 cup wheat flour
1/3 tsp carom seeds
3 tsp oil
Salt to taste
Water as per requirement
Preparation method:
Paratha Dough
Make dough before 15-20 minutes before you start making paratha stuff.
Take wheat flour in a bowl, add salt, carom seeds and oil to it.

Gradually pour water in the above mixture to make a non-sticky soft dough.

Paratha stuff
Take 1 cup of chickpeas, wash it and soak it in warm water for around 3-4 hours.

After resting time, pressure cook the chickpeas till 8-9 whistle at medium flame. Cooked chickpeas should be soft enough on the bite.

Mash the chickpeas with a back of the spoon or masher to get a potato mash like consistency.

Add onions, coriander, green chili, ginger, red chili powder, garam masala, dried mango powder, asafetida, salt to taste and mix it well to get the uniform mixture.

For making paratha
Take a ball of dough, dust with flour, roll to make chapati and put a small portion of stuff in the middle of the chapati.

Cover it from all sides and roll it again to make a round paratha using flour.

Transfer to the pan, roast both sides and apply ghee or butter to cook it well.
Serve hot paratha with extra butter and curd.
